Describe the condition you can see.
Preparation is part of defining a painting project. Small nail holes, dents and cracks need to be considered alongside the surfaces you want painted. NLB Paint & Finish can repair those areas, address damaged drywall sections and prepare unfinished drywall for painting. The amount of repair work is reviewed as part of your estimate.
You do not need to diagnose every mark before contacting us. Tell us where the damage is, whether it appears in one spot or across several walls, and which rooms are affected. A wide photo shows the surrounding area; a closer photo helps us see the repair you are describing. Include anything you are uncertain about in your notes.
Get a repair estimate without guessing at trade terms.
Use the estimator above to count holes by size, tell us whether they are on a wall or ceiling, and describe the height and texture. Include the total length of cracks or loose seams. Your selected finish makes clear whether the estimate includes primer or paint touch-ups.
Send a wide photo and a close-up of each damaged area after the estimate. Water damage, recurring cracks and larger sections require a closer review; fixing the cause comes before cosmetic patching. Full-wall painting can be planned through our interior painting estimator.
Plan for the work area as well as the walls.
Before interior painting, we prefer furniture and personal belongings to be moved out of the work area. Tell us if you need help with larger furniture so we can include the additional fee in your discussion. We take precautions to protect floors and furnishings that remain, and supply the paint, materials and equipment for the project.
For exterior painting, describe the surfaces, visible condition and access around the areas you want refreshed. Exterior preparation is confirmed during the project review. You can send a request directly with your address, project description and optional photos, or explore our completed interior painting projects as you plan your update.
